I feel so incredibly lucky that Save the Date and Charu Prakash, Kavita Ahuja, and Chandani Shah planned and coordinated my wedding. Their excellent taste, knowledge, work ethic, and patience made the wedding planning experience--and more importantly the wedding events--feel fun and smooth. Our wedding was not easy by any means: the invite list was about 300, there were several events, and we are fairly particular about what we like but have a tough time making decisions. Save the Date handled all the twists and turns with grace and impeccable competence. All the vendors they recommended were reasonably priced and came through perfectly. And the day-of felt effortless for us--Save the Date managed all the logistics without us needing to stress at all. They even dealt perfectly with a last-minute switch from outdoors to indoors when it became clear the temperature at the time of our ceremony was going to be above 100 degrees. I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

Charu and Kavita were the perfect people to pull together our COVID-safe, backyard, interfaith hindu wedding. From the moment my fiance and I first spoke on the phone with Charu, we could tell that she knew exactly what we needed and that we could trust her with our important day. Even though our wedding was tiny (4 people), and we weren’t having a reception, Charu and Kavita made me feel like my wedding was just as important to them as the biggest one in the world!
They also were very patient with my unfamiliarity with hindu wedding traditions and even though I didn’t know what to ask for, they made sure we had all the right decor and equipment for a proper hindu ceremony. They also knew all the right people to refer me to for my other wedding needs such as priest, henna and make-up. I couldn’t believe it on my wedding day, how they somehow transformed a very basic backyard into a perfect wedding venue. The mandap that Charu and Kavita arranged was so beautiful that many guests, both in person and those who watched virtually, told us it looked like we were on a movie set. I highly recommend Charu and Kavita for a wedding or any other event, big or small.
